A Love Letter to the Attico White Leather Monica Mule

Floating_Shoe.jpg

When I got my first paycheck at 14, my first purchase was a pair of white “leather” pointy toe pumps from Charlotte Russe. They were poorly made and scuffed very easily and I loved them.

The sensible side of me switched to black leather pointy toe shoes in the following years, (pumps, flats, chelseas, kitten heels- I had a footwear uniform going) but I’m always drawn to the siren song of a clean white heel. They are crisp. They elevate any outfit. They are elegant. They seem to say “I know myself very well, wouldn’t you like to know me, too?”

I fell in love with this white leather Monica Mule by Attico the second I saw it in my periphery. The bit of flare on the heel is classic, the height is just right for feeling dressed up and still being able to walk comfortably, and that V elongates the line of the leg. This is a perfect summer shoe.

Cheers to Attico
