Nomasei Armanda Bottines

These Nomasei boots are my dream every-day, running around South Congress in some nice (noice) denim to get breakfast tacos and catching the tram in Lyon to go to the Miniature Museum on a Tuesday morning boots

They’ve got a walkable heel (!) They’re white, so I can channel some 2017 Elaine Welteroth energy when I’m having an off day. And I just can’t get over the racing stripe in the back that feels cheekily 70s. These shoes are a whole mood booster. I love them.

Amy Opsal | Mixed Media Artist

I thought the boots were perfectly complimented by the abstract paintings of Amy Opsal. She’s a Dallas artist who has just begun her practice, which makes her compositions that much more captivating. Her collages and paintings are ongoing experimentations in expression- earying between expressionist abstract painting and refined minimalist collage with each finding its own sense of balance. I’m drawn to the lyrical nature of it all, and those low monochromatic tones aren’t hard on the eyes, either.
